It was hard to find info about childbirth, or children at all, really. Yet for me that is the biggest part of life! Certainly everything revolved around giving birth in the years it happened, anyway. And literally a matter of life or death.

I have always been fascinated with researching old photographs and postcards, so found this article really interesting
