a compelling read. is one of my favourite writers and “The Show Must Go On” has been a fascinating series to read. Part 4 is a truly extraordinary story and so many children! I wonder how many years of her life was she pregnant, what a strong and resilient woman. brings us part 2 of how he discovered his 2x great-grandparents, a great piece of detective work from Bill. Like Bill I would have been bothered that my DNA hypothesis had no paper trail to back up what he had discovered, but it’s good to hear that he was able to combine conventional research methods with DNA to reach a reasoned conclusion.
The letters never get any easier to read as the heartbreaking news reaches Thomas of the loss of his father. Thanks for sharing these
