How it Started, How it’s Going
One of the things that I find so fascinating about family history is the fact that we all start our family history journeys from completely different places and for entirely different reasons. No two starting points are the same and no two journeys will be the same. This enables us to share with each other our own stories and experiences as we continue down our own families journey. I recently wrote about how and why I started researching my own family story and wanted to share this with you and hear how your own journeys began and what drives you on and inspires you to continue with your research.
How did you start your #Genealogy journey? Here’s how I started mine

What a truly fascinating and inspiring start to your family tree research Emma thank you for sharing that with me. They have done exceptionally well to produce a family tree dated from the 1920’s, researching must definitely be in your DNA!
My interest started with a large old framed family tree that hung on the wall of my grandparents house. It was of a French Huguenot line and my grandmother was down at the bottom (I have since discovered that the tree was not 100% accurate - people were missing - it did date from the 1920s so records weren’t as readily available then)
